After throwing up a two-for-one sieg heil combo during the Trump inauguration ceremony, Elon Musk spent the past week tap dancing around the accountability spotlight during the day, while flirting with literal German Nazis at night.

Mainstream media outlets might be too afraid to call his “awkward gesture” what it was, but actual Neo Nazis and fascists read the message loud and clear.

Nick Fuentes is the most known white supremacist to praise Elon’s salute, but several copycats both famous and unknown have reared their heads from out of the toilet bowl.

Andrew Tate, currently on trial for rape and human trafficking, posted a 5-minute video titled: “IT'S TIME TO GO ON THE OFFENSIVE. SALUTE!” where he proudly sieg heiled in the opening 5 seconds and sarcastically said “my heart goes out to all of you” — complete with a shit-eating grin.

Laura Smith, a Republican from Pennsylvania had to resign as Vice Chair from the Towamencin Township Board of Supervisors after she went viral on Tik Tok throwing up a sieg heil of her own.

“Just checking in on my friends who are struggling this week,” she said with a smirk only a fascist would love. “My heart goes out to you. Hope you’re doing okay.”

These fascists know what they’re doing (minimizing the nazi salute so it can slowly become normalized in public), especially Elon Musk, who is aggressively infantilizing himself in hopes that the public will forget his ties to actual German fascists.

“The ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is sooo tired,” he wrote in a post on X.

No worries though. It’s all just a fun, family-friendly joke. The sieg heil isn’t related to fascists and Nazis or Hitler. It’s an activity even the kids can do! I’m sure there won’t be any consequences for the parents or the kids for this “Roman salute!” I bet Fuck. Around. And. Find. Out season won’t impact anyone who films themselves doing it!

Four-thousand miles across the country in Germany, and the feelings about Elon Musk’s open support of far-right German identity politics are both a mixture of “oh shit, here we go again” and “baby we’re back” after Musk made a surprise virtual appearance at an Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) rally.

Elon praised the AfD, a far-right party that pushes anti-immigration and anti-Muslim policies, as being the only party capable of “saving Germany.”

As if interfering with one election wasn’t enough, Elon has been on an international crusade, collecting collaborations with fascist dictators and political parties like Italy’s Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni and the Nigel Farage of the United Kingdom’s Reform UK party.

Like a private equity firm buying up every single-family home in the neighborhood, Elon Musk, the richest person on the planet, is buying political influence one country at a time as he ratchets the pendulum of international politics further and further to the right.

We haven’t even finished the month of January and it already feels like the end times.

Donald Trump’s inauguration was a family reunion where all of the major global right-wing leaders gathered around to celebrate their latest scheme: electing Donald Trump and advancing their fascist agenda.

Here’s what you should know about the evil bastards who attended:

1. Nigel Farage

• Political Affiliation: Leader of Reform UK, a right-wing populist party in the United Kingdom.

• Ideological Leaning: Right-wing; anti-immigration, supported Brexit.

• Ties to Donald Trump: Farage has maintained a long-term relationship with Trump, attending his rallies and being present at Trump's 2024 U.S Presidential watch party at Mar-a-Lago.

2. Javier Milei

Target has maintained a longstanding reputation as the diverse alternative to Walmart given their support of Black owned brands, but that legacy has quickly dissolved over the past week.

After news broke about Target ending their DEI programs and closing the door on employee programs and brand partnerships that specifically helped Black communities, folks took to social media to boycott Target and swing their support for other retailers.

But not all companies have walked back on their DEI promises. Some companies, like Costco and Apple, have stood ten-toes down and embraced their diversity programs for improving their workforce development.

Here’s a list of companies that have ended their DEI programs, and others that have continued to support DEI:
